This is the type of restaurant everyone wants ‘around the corner’. Small, familiy-run type, great food, excellent service, casual, not very expensive. We had capaccio, scallops with crispy prociutto, risotto with wild mushroom and confit of duck. All very well prepared and extremely tasty. And our waiter was simply the best! Professional and super friendly. If I lived in Toronto, I’m pretty sure this would be one of my regular go-to places.
The food and presentation were excellent.
Met with some distant relatives for a dinner here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The decor is clean and relaxing and it is quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The service was attentive and the choice of beverages was extensive as were the meal choices. The meal sizes were ample and everything was prepared as per our requests. The four of us had different dishes so there was plenty of time to compare the quality of a few of the menu items. Across the street we parked under an office tower and since it was after 6:00 pm there was a $10 flat rate. If you end up in the Chelsea Hotel entrance you are just east of where you need to park. Our cost per person was about $60 and was well worth the cost.
